Bikers from Pennsylvania's A.B.A.T.E., or Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education, Mason Dixon Chapter, led by Dave Kuhns, ushered in an early Christmas to the children of Hoffman Homes for Youth in Littlestown.

The motorcycle rights organization is dedicated to supporting an array of charitable organizations throughout Pennsylvania, and has been an ardent supporter of Hoffman Homes for Youth for more than a decade. “We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of A.B.A.T.E.'s ongoing generosity,” says Mitch Snider, Hoffman Homes' CEO. “Our children come to us needing treatment for a variety of psychological and emotional challenges, so to have the chance to see Santa ride through campus, see the bikes up close and talk with the riders is a wonderful and welcome treat for our kids.” Says Kuhns, of Littlestown, “We're a brotherhood of bikers proud to support deserving organizations and charities throughout the area, especially children in need. We enjoy our partnership with Hoffman Homes for Youth and look forward to this holiday ride every year.”

Each year, A.B.A.T.E. visits Hoffman Homes to mark the start of the holiday season and present its annual donation in support of the organizationís mission. This year, A.B.A.T.E. presented Hoffman Homes with a check for $5,000, along with Christmas t-shirts for all of the children. Their generosity is nothing new to charities and organizations spanning South Central Pennsylvania. In the past 15 years, A.B.A.T.E. has donated more than $60,000 to Hoffman Homes alone. On Saturday, November 14, more than 50 bikes motored onto campus to give an early Christmas gift, as all the children in residence watched. “We canít thank them enough,” says Snider. “At Hoffman Homes, we have a saying that Christmas rolls in on two wheels, thanks to A.B.A.T.E.”
